The world of L.A. based artist Hans Haveron is as diverse, witty and complex as the self proclaimed "idea man " himself. He fuses raw and refined, fantastic and natural elements resulting in seemingly effortless striking end statements.
Grandson to Glenn Bahm, Houston based fine artist, painter, and eminent head of the Houston Arts Society for over fifteen years, he inherited a longtime background in the arts. The oldest of six, he was born to American painters Bill Haveron and Jerolyn Bahm-Colombik in East Texas, relocating later to the hot, sunny music town of Austin. Growing up, developing his skills surrounded by the boheme of festivals and the politics of art, Hans quickly picked up carpentry, framing, and developed a keen sense of music and the arts early on. Later, closely intertwined in skateboarding culture and Austin's booming live music scene he provided exceptional band posters, designs and graphics for many live performers. Naturally, as he was introduced to the airbrush media by way of graffiti/street art, he also produced many stylish provocative large scale murals on beloved local walls.
By the late nineties he had developed his magically diverse often mimicked signature airbrush makeup style. Carrying it West in 2001, it got its first big platform in popular local L.A. vaudeville circus "Lucent Dossier", and Haveron became solely responsible for their wildly popular airbrush makeup "look". Enjoying much popularity on both East and West coasts his gleaming contributions reflect his own original charm and mystery. Talented with paint, photography, metal, costume/clothing design and illustration, fashion/event production and direction, set design and film his work is both revered by the edgy underground renaissance as well as the high street audience.
In the new millennium Haveron got an inside look at the fashion world as runway/print model in many magazines and national ads.  He has done meticulous artwork on top tier Hollywood films such as Disney's "Enchanted". Most recently in exciting collaborations with other atists and designers one can find his work in major campaigns such as British superstar DJ Paul Oakenfold's "Perfecto" and album cover art for raucous L.A. band "The Ringers", breathing new life into the increasingly popular airbrush as a veritable tool of all trades for the charming young artist.
Currently, he continues to work in multimedia including his specialized custom romantic and often extreme avant guard makeup after effects and fascinating live murals. New projects find Haveron in New York City and abroad expanding his unique vision, techniques and design. Through his work, often saturated with surrealism, he hopes to create a place never seen before. An avid believer in breaking the rules, he constantly experiments with new ideas, media, and styles. He states: with a twinkle in his eye, "Through creating my work I escape from this world to another place where anything is possible. There, I find no limits, judgement, or regulations." and I think it's safe to say his audience agrees. ~
